Kool-Aid Challenge OH YEAH
Nike's that get cleaner the more you wear them

This Week in Dulture…
Approx 5 minute read:
🏠️ Drinking Kool-Aid will never be the same again
🛻 If Elon doesn’t kill tesla, this will
👟 Nike’s selling beaters
👫 Spring date ideas for EVERYONE
Dulture weekly mix
I’d like to think I had something to do with this having the Dulture readership but you’re the only one who reads this. Picture this, you’re sitting alone, on your phone, potentially on the toilet, scrolling through this and you’re the only one. You and Kanye West (I can’t control who subscribes) - okay, maybe not Kanye, don’t unsubscribe now… please.
This week’s mix is in honour of DJ Shtoops hitting 100 subs on YouTube after he fumbled through his first mix and posted it on YT New Years Eve - and then came over to my house and made us listen to it. This one is a banger though, you won’t know any of the songs but that didn’t stop you from playing Dance Dance Revolution did it??

Chat, how do we like this 👆️
I actually had a couple more updates I wanted to give you in this thing but ChatGPT struggles to understand STOP.ADDING.WORDS.TO.THE.PICTURE.
This is going to become the digest you truly crave every Friday at 6:56AM or I’m going back to the corporate workforce - do you really want me to do this again?? 👇️

Once upon a time my job was to be Doug Stamper
In other news, I came home (not from work) the other day to one of my kids dumping water on the other one while they filmed it.
The ice bucket challenge is back.
I asked them what they were doing and they told me they were raising awareness for mental health. I kinda raised my eyebrow as there’s already a ton of conversation around mental health online, especially with teenagers these days, so I wasn’t quite sure around the awareness piece.
But they meant well and I suppose you can never have enough awareness to an issue that plagues the entire world. And I mean, it could always be worse, there are a ton of other challenges they could be doing…
Like the Kool-Aid Man challenge.
Use your imagination for a second and I think you can figure out what the Kool-Aid Man challenge is.

Kids in Staten Island have been vandalizing people’s fences by running right through them, like the Kool-Aid Man. Like, literally through the fence.
How could we ever blame that red sugary man.
One can only assume that they’re yelling “OH YEAH!” as they run through.

The Tesla Killer…? (besides Elon)
The first time I saw a Tesla in real life (odd memory to have, I know) I was walking with my wife in her mom’s neighbourhood in Hong Kong. It was the OG roadster model, basically the first car the company ever produced, right when Elon took over.
Back then, more than anything else, Tesla was a pipe dream of a company but the idea of an electric car was pretty cool. Fast forward, here we are with electric everything on the road.
Slate, a Bezos backed company, is the latest company to jump on the electric car hype wave. Akin to buying a bookcase at Ikea, the Slate 2 seater truck starts at $20K USD (after rebates) but easily transforms into an SUV with a backseat if you purchase the kit to do so.

In fact the entire truck is customizable, like an Ikea bookcase.
The thing doesn’t come with any infotainment, speakers, or power windows, (basically a 69 Chevy something something) although all of this can be added on with their flurry of customizations or you can bring your own device…no really, the website suggests you just put your own phone or tablet in the car and use that instead.
This is essentially a Lego car.
And you design your car like you’re designing shoes with Nike I.D. No really, take a look here. I don’t know what the math is but there seems to be an insane amount of ways in which you can customize your car, from lights to wraps to change the colour to random accessories and decals.

You can expect to see these things on the road starting in 2026. And given the price tag, expect to see A LOT OF THEM.
Dirty New Shoes
If you’re of the culture then you know there’s certain shoes that when they get dirty, they actually look a bit better. A lot of Air Jordan 1’s are like this, some Air Max’s are like this, and probably the most popular, Air Force 1’s.
Normally I do my best to keep my shoes clean after I wear them - I’m an OG Mr. Clean Magic Eraser user on my shoes - but Nike is now saying, well if you’re gonna get them dirty, you might as well buy them dirty first.

These are brand new
The ‘Dirty Triple White’ Air Force 1’s are dubbed the shoe that actually gets cleaner the more you wear them.
Remember when you used to create those crayon pictures where you make the picture and then colour black crayon on top of it so you can scratch the black off revealing the colour underneath? That’s these shoes.

Nike is putting a Nike branded toothbrush and toothpaste in the box with the shoes in case you want to speed up the cleaning process. I just want the toothbrush…
Alongside this release on May 7th is an all black pair of Air Force 1’s as well - ‘Triple Triple Black’, where the upper gets even more black as you wear them. The black ones start out clean though.

It’s Time for Spring Dates
You might’ve missed the Cherry Blossoms in Japan but that doesn’t mean you can’t get outside and have a nice date with your S.O.
Here’s a random list that the internet thinks are good ideas to go enjoy outside while you try to mack on your lady/boy friend…not to be confused with your lady-boyfriend…in which case this would be a Thailand-themed list.
