Drake Just Introduced America To A New Comedy
Ronaldo's latest interview with Piers Morgan

This Week in Dulture…
Approx 5 minute read:
🇨🇦 Canadian comedy at its finest
💰️ Ronaldo on YT again
📽️ Michael Jackson’s life in movie form
🎴 MrBeast steamrolling right into Saudi Arabia
Dulture weekly mix
Two things: it’s damn cold outside in the mornings and evenings now. Also it’s too damn dark this early.
Daylight savings time feels more like a performative thing than an actual, useful thing. Like who finds it useful that it’s dark at like 5:17PM in the evening.
Either way, you need to get your energy up this week as we start to sloooowly progress our way into winter.
Also DJ Shtoops DJ-ed my house for Halloween last week - if you need a DJ hit his IG up.

Look, I get it - we don’t have the same reach as the US…but Canada seriously doesn’t get enough shine for our content.
Growing up in Toronto, we got all the Buffalo stations / western New York FOX, NBC, ABC, and CBS. I knew more about what was going on in Western New York than in Ontario at times.
Everyone in Toronto knew who Cellino & Barnes were.

Our challenge was just, there was no way anyone outside of Canada was watching Degrassi, one of the most popular Canadian shows of all time - 80’s version or Drake version - well, maybe not Drake version.
The internet clearly changed everything given we now have had out fair share of bangers come out of Canada that I know you’ve heard of - unless you live under a rock…
The Tom Green Show - if you grew up watching MTV then you came across at least a clip of this show.
Trailor Park Boys - the original was on Showcase (Canadian’s know Showcase 😉 ) and now you can find it all over Netflix
Schitts Creek - I keep reading how people had no clue it was Canada in the show.
The next show you’re going to know about and watch is The Office Movers.
Enter: The Drake Effect
I know you had no clue that The Office Movers existed before today when social media blew up the fact that Drake was going to be in an episode in season 2.
Well now you do and now a whole population of people will be trying to find this show online. I’m hear to tell you that regardless of Drake, I promise you this show is funny:
Thing is, Trae and Jae Richards (the show’s creators and stars) have been funny from time, what do you even mean broski?
This isn’t the first time Drake has guest starred in a Trae and Jae production - the world will cringe at the Toronto man lingo but c’mon, at least we know how to make fun of ourselves properly.

Toronto’s got so much talent, arguably we shoot ourselves in the foot more often than not - but that’s a conversation for another time.
Go check out The Office Movers out today!
Ronaldo vs. Piers Morgan
I had no idea how strong the Ronaldo effect really was until we were walking through a sea of yellow soccer jerseys at Causeway Bay station in Hong Kong.
The stadium hosting the Asia Super Cup was at that subway stop and guess who was playing in the semi finals?

I was about to say, “y’know when someone is so popular that…” and then I stopped myself because I don’t know if there’s anyone who can fathom what it means to be globally popular like Ronaldo.
Maybe Kim Kardashian? But even then, she’s not globally loved like Ronaldo is.
This past week Piers Morgan sat down with CR7 for an interview on his YouTube set in his house. In case you didn’t want to sit through an hour and a half of Piers Morgan gushing over Ronaldo (Piers literally wanted to touch his abs at one point) I’ve put together the most interesting parts.
Ronaldo always had a goal of becoming a billionaire. “The money didn’t matter”
Duh - when you have so much that you buy cars and can’t keep track of how many you have, the money definitely doesn’t matter.
The most expensive thing he’s every purchased is his Global Express jet
Because he’s not a normal persona and can’t just walk through airports normally.
CR plans on retiring soon so he can focus on his businesses
What he really ended up saying was focusing on YouTube - MrBeast effect, anyone?
Winning the World Cup is no longer his dream
This is exactly what someone says who has tried so hard to win the World Cup for years but has fallen short every single time.
Cristiano wants to do an interview with Donald Trump
I think this threw everyone off, the fact that he was so excited to want to go to the White House to sit down with Trump.
The interview itself was nothing special really but then again, I’ve never found CR’s YouTube content all that intriguing in general. Because of who he is, it’s always going to garner a lot of attention.
But man, I’d rather watch TD Bricks build a Lego ship and float it in his parents backyard than sit through another hour+ of Ronaldo talk about mundane topics.
MJ Coming in 2026
When I saw this trailer the first thing I thought of was, HASN’T THERE ALREADY BEEN A MICHAEL JACKSON MOVIE?

And there’s been a sh*t tonne of documentaries about the guy.
In April next year we’ll all be talking about Michael Jackson.
The film will essentially be the life and times of Michael Jackson and where he started as a kid with The Jackson 5 all the way to his super stardom and beyond.
The thing is, I don’t know if Michael’s legacy has somewhat moved on?
Yes there’s a whole generation who will be clambering to buy tickets immediately to watch, but there’s an even bigger generation that probably won’t be.
There’s also a massive generation of people who didn’t grow up with Michael Jackson; for a good chunk of them he wasn’t even alive. Do we care enough to watch this movie?
Both the Tupac film, All Eyes on Me, and the Biggie Smalls film, Notorious, experienced dismal ratings on Rotten Tomatoes - the biggest rappers of all time and arguably artists of all time. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to set your expectations a little lower when Michael comes out in the spring.
I know it’s Michael Jackson but I just don’t see it being all that popular, even if the Michael Jackson show is the most watched show in every Caribbean resort 😭
MrBeast Land
It’s been a minute since I’ve written anything about MrBeast, so here’s a decent update: he’s opening an amusement park in …. drum roll…. Saudi Arabia!
According to Jimmy,
I barely had to scroll down to confirm what I (and probably the rest of the world) was thinking:
The park itself will be $7 to enter but does not include rides and the challenges set up throughout the park. You can spend $25 on entry and get access to all the challenges plus 3 rides.
The park is called Beast Land, offering a bunch of challenges that feel like you’d see and do them in an actual MrBeast video.

It does sound like fun though…
It’s unconfirmed whether the Saudi government had anything to do with investment / attraction in getting the amusement park to open on their end of the world. Frankly we only really want to know because if they did, how much money did they throw at MrBeast then?
Saudi Arabia has been going hard over the past few years in trying to attract more things, mainly a lot of stuff from North America to boost and diversify their economy away from oil. The UFC, esports, and the WWE are a few of the many brands and attractions the Saudis have been attracting with their unlimited wells of cash.
I’ll let you know when the Saudis attract Dulture over and throw a big bag of cash at me 😉
